Microphone

Cymatics uses the microphone to estimate the pitch of the sound around the phone. The analysis runs entirely on the device. Audio is never recorded, stored or transmitted.

What is stored

Your settings and privacy choice are stored in this browser, including when you use the app without an account. Guest session reports and best holds exist only in the current tab’s memory and are lost when you reload the page or close the tab. With an account we store your email, an optional display name, your settings, session reports (per-second note classification, duration, name) and best holds, in a database hosted by Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt). This data is used only to show it back to you.

Statistics

With your permission, Cimatica uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, referring websites, broad location and device/browser information. Google receives connection information when its analytics service loads. The Google tag is not loaded and no analytics requests are sent before you choose “Allow statistics”. Refusing statistics does not limit the app.

We send only predefined page paths and the referring website’s origin. We exclude URL query strings and fragments, account identifiers, names, email addresses, microphone audio and saved report contents. Authentication pages are excluded, and report URLs are grouped without their identifiers. Advertising features and enhanced measurement are disabled. Analytics cookies are configured for up to six months; the browser preference remains until you change or clear it.

Google processes analytics data using its infrastructure, which may involve processing outside the EU. See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can withdraw permission below or in your profile; this stops further collection from this browser and removes its Analytics cookies. Withdrawing does not delete data already collected.

Your rights

You can export all your data as a file and delete your account, with all its data, from the profile screen. For any other request, contact the controller above.

Health notice

Cymatics is a meditation and wellness app. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Frequency and chakra associations are traditional and spiritual concepts, not proven medical effects. If you have a seizure disorder, a pacemaker or are pregnant, ask a doctor before attending loud sound sessions, and keep the volume of any sound source at a safe level.
